Margaret (Meggie) is a ball of energy and life! She has a great ability to love everyone around her and to encourage people to be their best. You can almost always find Meggie with a smile on her face and if you are lucky, she might do a little dance as she is explaining something to you.
She is optimistic yet overly dramatic at times. For example, watching the BYU vs Florida game during the NCAA tournament with her was hysterical. (She is a HUGE BYU fan.) At various points during the game she would say, “We’re done. That’s it. We lost. We may as well give up now.” Her idea is that if you have to expectation of them winning, then you will be pleasantly surprised when they do! She was so nervous for the game that she had to keep herself busy by assembling a bar stool.
Meggie is very fun and easy to work with. She has fun ideas for lessons and is quick to help when something comes up. For a project in Utah Studies the students could do a project using a program on the internet. Meggie taught 3 tutorial classes before and after school just so these students could learn to use the program. Planning lessons and activities that are developmentally responsive is important to her as well. If you need ideas of how to present a lesson, she will help you think of ideas.
Meggie is a woman of integrity. She works very hard to always follow policies and rules. You know you can count on her and that she is a hard worker. She LOVES the schools enchiladas and gets really excited on enchilada day. Meggie is great at planning activities and games and working hard to get everyone involved. Meggie is a fantastic employee and we are very blessed to have her here at Sunset Ridge.
