We are EXCITED to get the year started! Teacher Advisory (TA) has been re-vamped to better meet students’ needs. Teacher advisory is, at the end of the day, about making connections with students - to have an adult advocate. We will be doing lessons and other activities through TA including character education, anti-bullying, reading, studying, and preparing for student-led conferences. On Mondays in TA we will be having Drop Everything and Read (DEAR) and student assignment discussions with students. Teachers will talk with students who have missing assignments or low grades and help them make plans to improve using iFlight (our school-wide intervention program) and better study habits. Using TA and iFlight in conjunction with each other will allow us to better guide students through this influential time of their lives.

We will be sending home postcards with information about fall enrollment. The MOST important thing you can know is your Skyward PARENT login username and password. As we approach our online enrollment please note that nearly 100% will be completed online. Online Enrollment is scheduled to begin July 30. Student class schedules will NOT be finalized until the Week prior to school beginning. Have a fantastic summer!

The end of the school year is next week! My, how this year has flown! We remind students and parents that THIS Thursday and Friday are the last days for late/missing work AND finals will be happening on those days as well. ANY future class schedules that are visible on your students Skyward are NOT final and will not be FINAL until the week before school begins in August. Fall enrollment will begin the last week of July.
